Great performance by Hungarian driver Gyopos Levente at EASC25

One of the most anticipated races of the calendar took place at the Steelring circuit between July 18 and 20. The young 19-year-old Hungarian driver had a strong showing in the overall standings and in the competitive Supercars category, facing off against some of Europe's best specialists.

During the weekend, the pilots completed a total of 8 scoring rounds (plus 2 additional), divided into a training session and 4 official heats each day.
On Saturday, the track suited the Hungarian driver's driving style perfectly, achieving outstanding results that allowed him to lead the standings after the first day.

On Sunday, however, a few mistakes prevented him from maintaining his lead, and he managed to close out the day with a single victory in the final race. This gave him a total of three wins over the weekend, a remarkable result given the quality of his competitors.

He finished P2️⃣ in both his category and class, just 2 points behind the winner, Martin Walcher (TracKing), beating his BRC B59 teammate and also René Aichgruber, the reigning European champion, who finished P3️⃣.

The pilot was satisfied with his performance: "It was a very positive weekend. I was able to compete at the highest level, learned a lot, and proved that even at 19, you can be among the best in Europe. I hope to repeat the event next year, because it was an unforgettable experience, with a great atmosphere and impeccable organization."
