Organizing Club: Cuenca Motor 4x4
The Camino de San Isidro in Cuenca was once again dressed up for the 24th edition of the Ciudad Encantada Hill Climb. After 11 years without a race, the Cuenca Motor 4x4 Club resumed organizing this legendary hill climb, which counts toward the Castilla-La Mancha and Madrid Championships in this specialty. Maintaining its traditional 3.15 km route, it runs along a technical road through wooded areas with beautiful views of the Cuenca mountain range.
A total of 26 bodied vehicles and 7 single-seaters took part in the competition, which included two practice climbs and two timed climbs. A technical problem left Lucas Genovés without a chance, and he withdrew from the competition. Ángel Castro, in addition to winning Class 10 with his Talex, took second place on the podium.
