Arinsal climb. Andorra.
May 31 - June 1, 2025
Organizing Club: AAutomobil Club Andorra
Following its successful entry last year into the AUTOhebdo SPORT Spanish Hill Climb Championship, the Arinsal Hill Climb is back on the calendar, marking the third round of the 2025 season. The competition, organised by the Automobile Club of Andorra, will count towards triple points, as it not only counts towards the CEM AUTOhebdo SPORT but also counts towards the 2nd Division French Hill Climb Championship and also hosts the inaugural round of the revived Andorra Hill Climb Motorsport Championship.
The route used for the Arinsal climb will be the same one used in June last year, the ascent to the Pal Arinsal ski resort. It is a 3.750-kilometer route characterized by the interesting combination of fast sections in its initial and final sections, along with a much more twisty central section, featuring a spectacular series of hairpin bends.
In this test we attended with Guillermo Pernía and David Cánovas.
We leave you with a few words from Guillermo:
“Glass half full... we knew the conditions for this race would be difficult, and that's exactly what happened. Engine clamps and a couple of other mishaps kept us struggling all weekend. We continue to add points to the championship. Far from the overall Scratch and far behind the strong CMs, we finished P1 in the Junior CM and P1 in the Junior overall.”
David achieved P3 in his category.
Congratulations to both of you!!
