This year, the 16th edition of the Campo López Hill Climb will serve as a pre-inspection for the AutoHebdo Sport Spanish Hill Climb Championship (CEM), a key step towards the event's integration into the national championship in 2026, as is already the case with two other events held in the Lorca municipality: the Tierras Altas de Lorca Rally and the Baja Lorca. Organized by the Lorca Automobile Club and the Murcia Region Automobile Federation, it once again counts towards the Murcia Region Hill Climb Championship.

As in the previous edition, the event was divided into two days: Friday with the scrutineering and opening session at the Lorca Trade Fair and Congress Center; and Saturday with the official competition. This event takes place on a 4.32-kilometer stretch of road that connects the town of Lorca with the village of Campo López and the Lorca coast.
