5th Atalaya de Segurilla Climb

May 3-4, 2025

Organizing club: Ceramics Team

The engines roared again in the mountains this Sunday, May 4th, with the 5th Atalaya Segurilla Hill Climb, organized by the Escudería Ciudad de la Cerámica Club. The event brought together nearly 60 riders who braved the 4km of pure spectacle: a narrow and demanding course in a unique setting.

Of the drivers initially entered with a Talex, we must once again highlight the performance of Guillermo Pernía. This young Madrid native achieved P2 in the Single-Seater Scratch despite the difficult weather conditions. His best time, 2:07:854, was just three-tenths of a second behind the winner.
In P4, we have the second Talex, led by Ángel Castro de Las Heras. We regret the withdrawal of Lucas Genovés after the second practice session. We also felt the absence of Pedro Flores, who last year set a spectacular 2:03:399, setting a new record on this track.

Next stops: This Saturday, May 10th, the 42nd climb to Playas de Mazarrón, and in two weeks, the 53rd climb to El Fito International Climb. 💪
